Mobile Kitchens USA Provides Mobile Kitchen Units for Tennis Tournament at Indian Wells Tennis Garden

Levy Restaurants is currently renting out four mobile kitchen units as they provide food and concessions for the big BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. This is one of the biggest tennis events of the year, held at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, CA.

About the Event

The BNP Paripas Open brings together some of the world’s top male, female and doubles competitors. Some of this year’s most notable players include Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and sister phenoms, Serena and Venus Williams. The 2017 tournament is held from March 6-19 and fans will flock to the Coachella Valley to watch these amazing tennis professionals in action.

Levy Restaurants is a leading food service provider, known for their special events at sports stadiums/arenas, concert venues, golf tournaments, race tracks, and conventions. They serve food and drinks at such events as the Kentucky Derby, Indianapolis 500, PGA Championship, Grammys and NBA All-Star Game. They take on some of the most demanding concessions jobs throughout the country, which is why they regularly turn to Mobile Kitchens USA for certain special events such as the BNP Paribas Open. We helped them out last year at their biggest tennis event, the U.S. Open Tennis Championships in Flushing, NY.

What They Rented

Levy Restaurants contracted with Mobile Kitchens USA for a one-month rental of four skid kitchen units to be used at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden throughout the tournament. Each kitchen unit has been customized to meet specific food service and preparation needs. Rather than mobile trailers, these kitchen units were set up on skids so they can easily be put in place for the duration of the event.

First, they rented an 8-foot skid kitchen unit that contains a flat grill. On top of that are two more 8-foot kitchens for specialized cooking purposes. One of the units features two double convection ovens. The other has a flat grill and a four-burner stove with a large oven.

The largest skid kitchen that Levy Restaurants is renting from Mobile Kitchens USA is 10 feet wide. It was customized to handle the significant needs for deep frying at the event. This unit was set up with seven double-basket deep fryers as well.
